SUPERVISOR: Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary:
The Account Executive is a critical member of the Western Bancorp (WBC) organization responsible for the development of Western Bancorp market share in a designated geographic territory. The primary objective of this position is to achieve both the sales goals and service levels of the organization by developing and maintaining strong partnerships with the mortgage broker community in the assigned territory. The Account Executive (AE) is considered to be the most critical representative of WBC in the marketplace reflecting both our brand promise of excellent product offerings and world class service. The AE will serve as a team leader for the assigned territory and will also work closely with WBC Operations team members to establish and build durable relationships with each broker.  The AE will consistently strive to achieve all volume goals and service standards of performance as defined by WBC.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop new accounts relationships by prospecting via multiple channels and leading new customer orientation, training and set up

Provide continuing education for all current broker partners to achieve WBC Performance Standards

Act as the primary resource for broker technical, procedural and policy questions and concerns. Develop and maintain knowledge regarding all WBC programs, procedures and policies.

Act as the primary point of contact for escalation of urgent issues as identified by broker /partners until satisfactory resolution is achieved.


Demonstrated working knowledge of automated underwriting systems LP/DU and a strong working knowledge of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and FHA guidelines.

Demonstrated ability to train assigned brokers on the use of all relevant technology as defined by WBC.


Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a successful Wholesale Account Executive or Retail Mortgage Loan Officer with an emphasis on Business to Business selling. Consistent monthly closed loan production of $5m and a pull through ratio of 65% or better.

Communicator: Demonstrate professional presentation skills for both small and large audience.
Business Acumen: Proficient in Mortgage industry analytics with attention to detail and accuracy.
