Job Summary:
The Broker Coordinator is a highly skilled member of the sales support team at Western Bancorp (WBC) responsible for the day-to-day administration of the mortgage loan process. The primary objective of this position is to support the assigned Account Executives to meet or exceed WBC financial and non financial goals and objectives. This is accomplished by performing all duties in a timely and accurate manner to achieve consistently high quality results.


Operational Responsibilities:
Build positive working relations with Account Executives, Brokers and other WBC Team members to achieve all corporate production and service goals.

Proactively manage an assigned pipeline to achieve target performance metrics for accuracy and timeliness as reflected in turn time and accuracy measures. This includes the completion of all processing duties and the communication with all parties to achieve a positive service rating.


Core Functions:
Gather/order and review loan documentation as required for each loan application to be submitted for prompt under writing and funding to achieve accuracy.  This includes maintaining an up to date working knowledge of changes in related processes and procedures as required by WBC to achieve compliance with the regulatory/secondary and investor market guidelines.

Assist Account Executives with related questions to achieve a positive service rating.


Job Requirements:
Education:
Demonstrated knowledge of residential mortgage operations to include both the mortgage products offered and the role of the mortgage processor as a member of the overall mortgage lending business. Demonstrated working knowledge of automated underwriting systems LP/DU Experience:

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a successful Mortgage Loan Processor.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a pipeline of at least 25 loans. The ability to multi task to achieve outcomes in a timely manner Other:

Specific experience in wholesale mortgage lending is highly desirable.

Positive attitude and a strong desire to build positive relationships with both coworkers and clients.
